https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PCmygw, optional with 1080 Ti https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DZk28Y

I need it as work pc. I do extreme complex geometries, renderings over cpu and gpu. I wont OC, but maybe after a few years. I need a quiete good performaing system, but i am on budget, so if anyone has suggestions what I could change, keep/improve (or slightly less) performance for less costs, would be nice.

I did start another discussion a few days ago, but wanted to hear some other opinions on this build before I'll order it.

Many thanks,

Solomon

Is the rendering multi threaded or not? Depending on what it is, ryzen may or may not be a better option.

Also, is fast storage needed? If not, you could save some money on something like an mx500 or 860 Evo.

While the pure base 600 is really silent, it does come at the expense of cooling performance. If you want more of a balance, you might want to consider other options.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Renderings are multi-threaded, but I also need SC performance for special software. The purpose of the i7 is to balance that out. Fast storage is as important for the same reason.

Can you suggest other options? I'd like to keep the black colour tho.

EDIT: Just found this, but it's not available as case only. https://www.hyrican.de/index.php/produkte/gaming/hyrican-elegance/

However, cases with handles on top are so practical, like the Cooler Master Cosmos SE

I see that makes sense.

Meshify C as well as Define S are both good choices. The Silverstone RL06 does really well thermally and respectively from a noise perspective as well.
