bunker building

im gonna build a bunker by hand over the summer. im a big history buff mostly ww2 and the cold war and i want to build a bunker by hand. i wanted other peoples in put on my ideas, i was thinking making it out of logs and dirt. i was thinking it would be 5 foot square with about a foot and a half above ground with a shooting port. the images attached are my reference pictures. what are your thought?

It would be quite interesting to see how this goes, how large are you trying to make it?
