Find a laptop

Hi,

I'm a student and I'm looking for a new laptop with a great cpu, i don't care about the weight of the laptop but something between 14" and 15"6 is fine.

I do care about the battery life, but i don't want to sacrifice cpu power.

I need for programming, casual gaming, and a bit of photo and video editing. I really benefit from great cpu power for compiling my projects.

I have found one model, the Gigabyte Aero 14 (v8) (and the 15 cost too much for me), who have a great battery life, a good cpu ( i7 8750H ) and a decent gpu for casual gaming ( 1050Ti ).

I want to find a laptop a bit cheaper with a good battery life, there are a lot of gaming laptops with good cpu's out there, but find one with a good battery is rare. The HP Pavilion Power 15 is interesting too but i prefer to get the i7 8750H over the i7 7700HQ.

 

What are the other options out there ?

Also, some laptops are only available in certain geographical areas, so where do you live?

You didn't state your budget. Perhaps the new Dell XPS 2-in-1s with 8th Intel CPUs?
