Not compatible. Z77 is has 1155 pins and Z87 has 1150 pins. A compatible motherboard would be the Sabertooth Z77.

No it will not be, get the sabertooth Z77

So, I was thinking about getting the Asus sabertooth z87. But my processor is a i7 3770k lga 1155. Will this be compatible with that motherboard? If not, can you throw out some other compatible motherboards for me?? Thank you!

No it won't that processor is 1155 not 1150 which is z87 you could however pick up the sabertooth z77

No, that board is not compatble. YOu need a board with the Z77 chipset. Take your choice from Gigabyte, Asus, ASrock, or MSI and you will be fine.

No, Z87 Haswell is LGA 1150, you'll need a new CPU

Any half decent Z77 board from MSI, Asus or Gigabyte will see you right mate

 

Since you didn't post your current board or a budget, I'll stop right there
