Hey peeps, I have got :
AMD FX-8350

GTX 750Ti

16GB DDR3

and I have been streaming with hardware encoding with 720p 30fps... this is my current settings on obs...

but I know my CPU can do 1080p 30 fps... but whenever I try to stream using x264 encoder I get lag ingame and sometimes (rarely) frames drop on stream...

I need some help to set up my obs for using x264 properly because I feel I am doing something wrong... this is my current x264 setup... please help

all I want to get is a 60fps stream

mostly pubg, h1z1, csgo, dota

how much cpu does the stream use?

and have you tried lowering the settings of the games you're playing?

CPU sits at 80%

all the settings in game are the lowest possible... because I prefer framerate over resolution

just when streaming?

can you try using the gpu to encode? or does that make the games unplayable?

x264 = cpu

nvenc = gpu

60 fps is high task for your hardware, even without streaming I can imagine it drops a lot with those games (pubg, h1zz1)

You still can achieve it if you are using two computers, you can buy cheap computer with at least gtx 750 for nvenc acceleration (that's the cheapest gpu that offers nvenc that I know of)

then the fx-8350 is garbage :(

It was good gaming chip back when it released in 2011. It's still decent gaming chip, but not strong enough to stream and game at the same time.
