which programs will you be using? need os/peripherals? which country?

this looks really good. Thank you! Back in 2012 I would only use a Intel CPU. Is the AMD as good as them?

Primarily Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After effects. 
 

For peripherals:
I just need Ethernet and USB. I'm not sure if I need USB C. Because I'm a Student I get the OS free from microsoft.

Maybe not for gaming, but for a workstation, the 8 cores you get is amazing value and performance over Intel. And, don't worry about overclocking, because the chip boosts to about 4.3 ghz, which is almost more than you can get out of an overclock!
