Huawei P20 lite or Mate SE?

I'm currently looking for a new phone and I'm not really sure whether I should go for the p20 lite or the mate se, both have pretty similar specs but a 50usd price tag difference. The 2 main differences I can spot are the notch on the p20 and the extra ram in the in the Mate SE (4GB vs 3GB on the P20).

Now I'm more concerned about performance than looks so the 4GB of ram are more appealing to me but when it comes to things like: built quality and processing power I don't know if the extra 50usd are really worth it over the Mate SE or if I should consider any other option around that price tag... like a Moto G6 for example.
