Ram compatability

I have an Intel DH67BL motherboard and wanting to see if my ddr3 pc3 12800 4gb sticks are compatible. I know intel recommends 1066-1333 mhz. but mine are 1600mhz.

I mean, it should work, but it won't be utilizing the 1600mhz, and would downclock to 1333mhz.

Will that affect the performance at all? I'm running i5 cpu.with 4 of the 12800 sticks 16gb. and 2 TB hard drive.

They should work fine in your system especially if they have better CAS timings than what is recommended. Just make sure that the memory voltage specs are the same and all should be good.
