Upgrading my PC

Hi everyone!

 

Looking for some advice. I have just been thinking recently that I need to upgrade my PC. I don't know whether i should get myself a better GPU or CPU or spilt it. 

 

I currently have a 

i5-3340

Asus 750 ti

MSI H61M-P31/W8

8gb of DDR3 

 

Any advice would be helpful. I can't decide whether I wait for a big sale like black Friday or something similar but it is just so far away.

If your looking to play graphic demanding games like battle field 1 get a better gpu if you play games like watch dogs 2 get a better cpu

Looks like I will be leaning towards a new GPU. Any suggestions?

Cpu should hold up to modern games but its at the end of its peak. A new GPU will help the system alot since the 750ti isn't very powerful.

 

On a budget the 1060 is a solid choice for 1080p gaming if you have the budget 1070 or 1070ti anymore for 1080p is overkill imo

Up to £200 sort of thing. That is about $220 USD if that is easier

up to 315 mm is what the webpage stays

The thing is you can get a used gtx 1070 for 220 but it might be used for mining

Yeah, that is a great deal but if it is used for mining then it might be just down the drain at the end of the day

its a bit loud. but thats about the best you can get for that kind of money. that or a 780ti.

on what planet can you get a used 1070 for that kind of money? Mining is also mostly a non-concern with buying used cards. cards used for gaming and cards used for mining are basicly in the same condition
