HDMI quick question : using sli and 4 or + monitors

Hi everyone, i have 2 x gtx 1070 i was wondering if i can without issues use my seens using all the hdmi ports available.

Both gpu are in SLI

1 x 3440 x 1440 34" dell display using hdmi

2 x 2560 x 1440 25" asus display using hdmi

1 x 2560 x 1440 32" asus display using displayport

to my knowledge only one card outputs video during sli

No i have 1 of the screens on the second gpu

No, you can use multiple cards. I have a friend that runs a 1080 SLI and uses one card for each display.

 

You shouldn't have issues using all your card's available ports.

That is a linus amount of display,but otherwise you should be fine

Ok but i just tried and it doesnt detect the hdmi signal :(

I just tried without sli, doesnt work, yes cable works and is new

A good way to test, as mentioned, try cables that are known to work, another idea would be to try each card independantly first, make sure all ports you need on the cards work separately (removing one card etc) then SLI them up and plug them all in to the ports you have tested and validated and see what happens. 

 

could be a dodgy port, dodgy cable or even a software / driver misconfiguration somewhere (never used SLI so couldnt advise on that one)

ok i tried again and it works when sli is deactivated thanks, i will just use the 4 ports on the first gpu, need another cable tho..

Hm... is there some not expensive display port to hdmi adapter that suports 2560 x 1440 ? 2k 4k ?
