I watched the digital storm promo video but has anyone had hands on with this laptop? It's the only other $2000ish laptop for gaming besides the msi gs65 that I've seen with bluetooth 5.0.  It doesn't have thunderbolt 3 but does have usb c 3.1 (two of them), also has a full sd card slot and gigabit ethernet jack. The one thing the msi has on it besides looks is the killer wifi card.

 

Any info or experience anyone could share about it would be appreciated.

 

I'm looking to buy one of these higher end gaming laptops and am seriously considering this one.

I did see that video as well but they don't talk a whole lot about the wifi card and if it has shortcomings. I am under the impression that killer wifi cards are the best.

 

he also doesn't talk about the trackpad drivers i don't believe.

It's based on Clevo P950/955EP6/ER. Don't buy from Digital Storm, buy from resellers that offers repaste service like HIDevolution

 

Killer wifi can have driver issues. No Precision touchpad in that model I believe.
