Ram for editing

Go to solution Solved by Slottr,

16 @ 2400 should be fine, does help to be faster but you should be alright

For video editing at 1080p using adobe premier pro (I'll also be using after effects and illustrator)

How much ram should I get, should I get 8gb of corsair vengeance 2400 MHz or should I get 16gb at 2400 MHz, I've got my editing pc parts as cheap as possible without affecting performance, just need help on the ram

Thx

What processor do you have?

I'd strive hard to get 16, if you have a ryzen processor strive harder to get somewhere around 3000 Mhz
