Is this memory compatible.

I want to buy a new rig with ryzen 5 but the memory that i found for cheap isn't found at asus Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors List).Does that mean that it wont reach 300mhz or something like that

I would go to pc part pickers. Ebert your parts. And it will tell you if they are compatible.

The QVL is basically what's been tested and verified 100% to work on that board. It's almost certainly going to work but they just haven't tested that specific kit to verify 100% that there won't be issues. You'll be able to hit 3000MHz no problem though.

The mobo you linked supports DDR4 @3200mhz and 2933 so you'll be fine.

Yes but it does not mention 3000mhz

That just means that the board probably doesn't have a default profile for 3000mhz. That means that you can run the RAM at 2933 or manually set it to 3000 without a problem.

You're definitely ok. Worst case scenario you have to manually type in 3000 mhz for the memory clock in bios. Remember that the default speed is 2133 so if you want to run at higher speeds you have to set it in bios.

Are you buying a ryzen 5(Second gen-ish thing) or first gen ryzen? Second gen should have no issues at 3000 but some first gen chips wont take more than 2800.
