Soooo It has been a while since i have done any kind of overclocking to an amd proc. (Last one was the 6300 which i scrapped). Anywho. the problem i am having is getting the overclocked speed to actually work when i am running anything. If i stress test the cpu after applying the overclock in the bios it will show in task manager that it is 3.8ghz, but it will only go up to 3.76 in benchmarks. i am at a loss here as i even oced my 2.4ghz ram to 3ghz. the voltage i have my cpu at is 1.35, and it is stable and such. any ideas here?

Task Manager doesnt display the CPU speeds correctly. Go download Ryzen Master or HWInfo to get the proper speeds.

Pics of bios screen.

I highly doubt that as it also only utilises 99 percent of CPU during benches and sometimes will even clock down to 3.7ghz

I also just noticed that hwinfo is showing that my voltages are at 1.325 and not 1.35 under load. And now it is sitting at 3.71 ghz in task manager

I've also noticed that the cpu vid goes up to 1.356v (what I have it set to) at idle but goes to 1.26 under load.
