H310 chipset it's pci 2.0 '6 lanes' and lose core count over others chipsets?

I friend told me that h310 chipset lose a core it is true?
6 lanes 2.0 pcie it's enough for a single gpu? it will be any difference in performance over others chipsets? ty...

No that is 100% a lie, a motherboard CANNOT reduce core counts on a CPU.

You don't lose cores on H310, your cpu will still have its full amount of cores.

And im not quite sure what you're talking about with the PCIe lanes tbh, but it has 16 PCIe lanes(all the coffee lake cpu's have 16, and the lanes come from your CPU not the motherboard)
H310 also uses PCIe 3.0 not 2.0

That doesn't mention anything about PCIe 2.0 or losing cores though?

Not for the core itself i don't know where he got that either but if u scroll down to 300 series chipsets it says 6 lanes for pcie and 2.0 gen...

do not confuse CPU lanes/speed with chipset lanes/speed.

the H310 will use the DMI 2.0 (5.0 MT/sec) over the currently used DMI 3.0 with 7.9 MT/sec

Oh i skipped right over that picture thinking it was an advert lol.

Seems i am mistaken on the PCIe 2.0 though, i was thinking of 370 not 310.

Sorry guys i misunderstood, he meant ''uncore'' reduction 'memory cache frequency etc' not a core itself, that reduction in uncore and pcie type 2.0 will make a difference anyway? i will be able run ddr4 3200mhz  in those boards?  ty...
