Play 4k games or or upscale to 4k? Also there has been a refresh of the Ryzen lineup that is worthy of note. IF you plan to record in 4k live from your PS4 or stream in 4k, you are going to want at least a gtx 1070, a 1070 ti, or 1080, or even the 1080 ti.

If you want to play in 4K, I would go the 8700K/1080Ti route personally.

4K video games such as GTA and so on. For the FPS I would say anywhere around 60. and not sure what graphical setting means.

If you want 4k 60 FPS at the highest settings you'll want a GTX 1080Ti. That's the only card that can handle it.
4k high settings is a GTX1070Ti GTX 1080

4k Medium/High is a GTX 1070 or 1070Ti

GTX 1060 will maybe run 4K low/Medium settings close to 60.

EDIT: In terms of AMD videocards, if you can find a RX Vega 56 or 64 for MSRP They will be around the GTX 1070Ti level.
RX 580 is about the same as a GTX 1060.

Yeah i was thinking on going for a much better GPU but.....the prices on those Geforce GTX 1070 and above are pretty pricey.

Any idea where i can find one for a good deal or anyone selling them that will fit my built?

Keep in mind, if you get a 4k monitor you could always still play your games in 1080p. 4k is an exact 2 times larger width and height of 1080p. So it will act look just like a 1080p screen.

Sadly, with the current GPU market, there aren't that many good deals.
You could always buy a used GPU from the last generation (GTX 980ti, which is about the same as a GTX 1070).

Personally, I would wait for Nvidia's 11 series cards. Which are coming out in the next few months. There's no guarantee that they won't all just be bought out. Personally, if you really want a great deal on a good GPU, pre-order the Nvidia 1180. The 1180 should be about as fast as the 1080Ti, maybe even faster.

But like I said, good chance that crypto miners will buy them right away.

If you decide to go that route, you could buy a cheap card like a GTX 750ti to hold you over until then.

They haven't announced the new cards yet. But when they do you can buy them from Nvidia's website.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/shop/

Typically the Reference Design cards (Nvidia design) come out a month or so before the custom cooler cards like the Asus ROG Strix.
So maybe waiting for them would be a good choice, but like I said the miners might buy out all the cards.
