Curiosity question: What is the least powerful processor you could use with the following graphics cards without any bottle-necking in games?:

GT 1030

GTX 1050

GTX 1050 ti

GTX 1060

GTX 1070

GTX 1070 ti

GTX 1080

GTX 1080 ti

Titan V

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.

It's hard to tell with just this much information because some games are more CPU intensive than others. But here's a place to start from:

GTX 1050 ti: i3 8100

GTX 1060: i3 8100

GTX 1070: i5 8400

GTX 1070 ti: i5 8400

GTX 1080: i7 8700

GTX 1080 ti: i7 8700

Titan V: i7 8700K

These are what I consider to be a minimum for these GPUs.

CPU: Intel Core i7-950 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R CPU Cooler: NZXT HAVIK 140 RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR3-1600 (1x2GB), Crucial DDR3-1600 (2x4GB), Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 (1x4GB) GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 770 DirectCU II 2GB SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 2.5" 1TB HDDs: WD Green 3.5" 1TB, WD Blue 3.5" 1TB PSU: Corsair AX860i & CableMod ModFlex Cables Case: Fractal Design Meshify C TG (White) Fans: 2x Dynamic X2 GP-12 Monitors: LG 24GL600F, Samsung S24D390 Keyboard: Logitech G710+ Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Mouse Pad: Steelseries QcK Audio: Bose SoundSport In-Ear Headphones

a full list? jeez...

and it depends... do you consider 200 FPS while the card isn't used to it's full potential bottlenecking? cuz that's what will happen on all CPU's on a GTX 1080TI for example running 1080P (on some games, other games might utlize the GPU more and give you less FPS but the GPU usage would go up)

i would consider this the minimum for 1080p, but anything above 1440p, even a GTX 1080TI and an i5 8400 would be more than enough
