Computer Can't Find Domain

You need to change the client machines DNS Server over to your servers IP before you can join a domain.

I have made a windows domain on my home network on windows server 2012 r2 but I can't connect any devices to it where have I gone wrong?, is there any other steps that I should have done as I have simply made the domain and that's it.

Hva you changed the other devices f,rom workgroup to the domain you're using on the server?
