I guess ill start out by saying I'm a service tech or specialized hospital and lab equipment, and have access to a Cryostat (frozen tissue sectioning machine) that's designed to run constantly at -20 to -30 degrees C.

My question is; do you think that the Cryo chamber would be able to produce any significant positive results to the system performance or would it just end up with similar results as the "PC in a Fridge" video?

Asking out of pure curiosity, although I'm sure ill actually end up testing it at some point, but I feel like the heat from the cpu alone would cause too much condensation?

Any thoughts would be awesome

its definitely not designed to run with something that hot in the chamber, but that hasn't stopped me before lol

it is a very powerful cooling system that keeps trying to maintain whatever its set temp is at and Im definitely tempted to try it with old hardware or something though but don't know how I would battle any kind of condensation that might build up on the components...

For condensation you would need to conformal coat the board to help protect it but it will most likely still frost up pretty heavily especially if they is any water vapor in the air.聽

awesome! Any creative ideas for ways to eliminate any possible water vapor inside?

You could put some desiccate in the chamber to help draw away as much moisture as possible.

As said since the system is generating heat I'm not too sure how well that cooling chamber will be able to keep up.
