Ram question

I am currently gonna invest into the 2400g so ram is very key to getting the max performance. I also have a few questions too.

 

Would buying 8 GB of ram now and later buying the same ram with same speed effect overclocking? 

 

Also would buying an 8 gb and a 4 gb stick with same specs and brand work and will it effect overclocking?

2. Compatibility issues could cause it to not work. Does not affect overclocking.

I've never had compatibility issues with different RAM capacities.

Me neither with Intel, just not sure about AMD. This is the platform that reminds people the QVL for RAM exists and is worth taking into consideration.

You'll lose the speed boost of dual channel RAM if you don't install matching pairs of DIMMs.

How about for my first question will I loose dual channel speeds if I install 8gb later?
