Good Wireless Headphones

I've been searching for some new headphones for a while now. I've been using the Song MDR-XB450s for over 4 years now and they've been great, but they're on-ear instead of over-ear and I would like something with perhaps a little more UMPH. I also think going wireless would be incredibly useful.

So far I've seen the Sony MDR-XB950B1s which basically look like a upgraded version of what I have now, however they're Bluetooth and I've never had ANYTHING that's Bluetooth that has fully worked properly, and I would also have to get a cheap little adapter to use them with my PC which may not work properly or deteriorate the sound quality.

Anyone recommend any good wireless headphones for general PC work, music and editing etc that aren't SUPER expensive? Thanks.

If you could provide a specific budget that would be great. Do you prefer Bass, Treble or a middle of the road device? You said Oomph so I am assuming Bass.

Gonna sound a bit rude here, but...get something wired. Hear me out though:

Bluetooth will always sound inferior to a quality analogue wired connection because of how it works. All the sounds coming out of the device (pc, phone, etc) are mashed together into 1 audio stream, and compressed (with loss) before being sent to the headphones. This doesn't mean there aren't good sounding bt headphones, just that they will never be better than wired.

 

That said, I had a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2 wireless that sounded great. I can't claim to be an audiophile, (I'm more into keyboards) but they were the best sounding set I've used personally. Though they were on-ear, the ear pads were fairly comfortable for long, long listening sessions (think 5-7 hrs+) and the active noise cancelling was quite good, almost as good as bose.
