Hello Everyone,

I am having a slight issue with Audio in my system. When ever I am gaming and listening to music or a Twitch stream the levels in my Audio will randomly change. Sometime while listening to music while gaming, the audio will bump the Music louder than the game, despite my having a lower preset volume for the music player of my choice (i.e. Groove or Spotify.) I was wondering if it had to do with any audio drivers I was using, or a setting in windows itself. I already went to my Communication tab in the Sound menu and selected the "Do nothing" Option. For audio I have installed Realtek HD Audio Manager and Sound Blaster Cinema 2 installed. Both of which are up to date.

Further Information:

Motherboard: MSI Z97 GAMING 3 (MS-7918)

Headphones: Steelseries Siberia (the OG ones with the 3.5mm Audio Jack)

OS: Windows 10 Home

Is your windows volume mixer sound settings actually being changed when this happens? If so it might be some program or setting that's causing it to adjust your volume.

Check what is highlighted is not checked in your realtek drivers. To be safe you can disable all sound effects. I'm not sure what options you have for your Sound Blaster Cinema 2... which one are you actually utilizing?

It is already set like this
