Using the specified motherboard. Originally had a 16gb 3000 kit. the b1 ram slot eventually killed the kit and now have a 8gb kit  in there for thr same rating. the new ram had issues with the same slot so i moved them over. regardless of how the ram is positioned, the ram will NOT oc to 3000 in dual channel. I had one 8gb stick in and it would use the xmp to 3000 but will not for two sticks. am i doing something wrong or is the monitor defective?
