2700x and ram frequency

I recently upgraded to a 2700x, I have a single stick of ram that has ran at 3200mhz before on intel  but I can not get to go over 2800mhz now. I am basically wondering if I should be happy that I am getting the 2800mhz or if I should still be pushing for a higher frequency. If you have any recommendations please let me know.
