I have i5-4570 with 3.6 Ghz clock speed and 8GB RAM
My gtx 650ti boost recently gave out and I was planning to buy a new card.
My question is, will a GTX 1060 3gb be bottlenecked by my CPU?
And also what is a better option for gaming:
A gtx 1060 3gb OR gtx 1050ti + a SSD

don't get the 3GB one you will have bottlenecking pay the extra$$ and get the 6GB 1060 and it will greatly minimize playtime bottlenecking.

That cpu has plenty of power for such a card.

yes and if you google or youtube search a comparison of the 2 you will find again and again that the 6GB model because the VRAM can buffer more you will not have nearly as much trashing of the RAM and CPU during gaming.

About 10% average better performance from the 6gb version.

But the extra vram also helps, quite considerably depending on the game/settings.

If you'd like that 1060 to last you as long as your 650 Ti Boost get the 6GB version.

Did the same thing for my brother, seems like he is happy .. even I got the 1060 6GB to replace my broken down GTX980.

If you can, get the 6GB version and think about the SSD later.

SSD's help with responsiveness and reducing the amount of headaches because steam is updating slow as hell again. Other then that they are a luxury item.
