So I got pretty much everything for my build except RAM and CPU cooler

I decided to get RAM first and for no reason I decided to take a look at ASRock's b250 pro4 supported RAM list and I couldn't find the one I want (Trident Z).

My question is if I buy it will there no problem or will it end up with money down the drain?

Most RAM out there is already made primarily for Intel chipset mobo. You most likely will not have any issue I would say less than a 5% chance of not working.

From the manufacturer's specs list...

  • Supports DDR4 2400 (Intel® 7th Gen CPUs) / 2133 (Intel® 6th Gen CPUs)

I think it should work but the speed of it will decrease to fit the needs of the mobo.

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.
