Hello guys!I want to upgrade my old i5 3450 and gigabyte b75m to some better because its very bad in new games.I will just gaming,no stream,no multitasking and else.I have gtx 970 and i found good deals.I found i7 4790k,Asrock Fatality z97,16gb kingstone memory at 1600 mhz for 320 euros(used) and i found i5 8400,asus prime b360 plus and 16gb kingstone memory at 2400mhz for 420 euros (new with 3 years guarantied on mb and cpu and ram 10 years guarantied).Which will be better deal.

Instead of buying a whole new platform, I'd actually just find a used i7 3770 on Ebay.

If i had to choose, i'd get the 4790k. Cheaper, can be OC'ed.

 

That being said, if you can find a suitable cheap 3770, i'd just go with that.

 

Dont forget to consider a cooler. if you change socket your likely going to have to get a new cooler unless ur current one has the correct mounting hardware.
