Did you already try to configure your mic it with the: "peter dictates from (...)" on the windows recording settings ?

Yay, getting more and more unlucky with audio. I have a microphone problem where there is some static noise. It is prominent when recording something on Audacity, but Discord allows me to change the db level etc. Microphone is a blue snowball I found in my closet after not using it because I got pissed off at this same problem. Wishing there was a DAC for microphones. This problem is only on my desktop. There is no static in a laptop. Ideas?
