AIO's and Longevity

So I plan to buy an AIO hybrid graphics card and CPU cooler.  After looking into water cooling to see if i'd rather just do some custom loops (never water cooled before) and learning about corosion and all that other stuff, I've heard that even the AIO's (with all their carefully formulated fluids) will still cause gradual degradation and need to be replaced eventually.  I'm having a difficult time finding information on this for AIO's so I'm hoping some people here would know more about it, when you should maybe consider replacing an AIO GPU, and any other stuff someone should be aware of.

Just keeping this here as a Not speaking from experience, but I've heard AIOs have gotten more reliable over the years.  They're not going to be as high maintanance as open loops, which do slowly evaporate over time and require cleaning.  

Just be mindful - of the warranty, installation instructions, the company's policy on accidental damages, etc.

i never thought about cleaning.  i'm guessing that will be covered in the manual for the component (planing on cooler master).

I didn't either until I looked into possibly doing a custom loop myself.  Once I knew how much maintenance was involved I decided to push it off for another day as a project. 

AIOs, once you get them installed, can be just as maintenance free as air.  You still need to be mindful of leaks though, but as long as you go for a reputable one and install it correctly the chances of that are pretty low.

Nah, AIOs don't need it and I don't think are really designed for it, except maybe cleaning the fan or potential fan filters.
