Hi guys, am a newbie to PC building.

I am currently using the Seasonic M12Evo 620w modular power supply. Ordered a set of cable mod sleeved cables, in total the 24pin, 8 pin CPU, 6 pin PCIE (GTX 1060) as well as 2 backup 8 pin PCIE cables (when i upgrade my GPU).

Have fixed on the 24pin, 6 pin and 8 pin CPU cables with no issues. However, when looking through the 2 spare 8 pin PCIE cables, it strikes me as weird.

The 8 pin PCIE connector (the side the plugs into GPU) looks fine. All 8 pins are connected.

However, for the same cable, the side that plugs into the PSU has 2 blank prongs?

Is this correct, or did i get wrong cables? Thanks in advance and i apologize if this is a really stupid question
