Windows Reset Problems

jacob_samd

So here is the problem I am facing.  Windows 10 has the reset feature.  It is great but keeps saying it ran into a problem.  I am trying to figure out if I can just clean install windows 10 and use the windows key # from the sticker on the side of the computer.  It is a gateway computer and was originally windows 7.  Is this possible?  It was upgraded to windows 10 when they offered the upgrade free.

Sign in with your MS account.

Then you get 3 installations (including your current one) on that key.

If you run into trouble activating, contact MS support, they're usually pretty good.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.
