PWM fan making other fan spin at max speed

I have a 140mm PWM fan and another 120mm fan which isn't pwm, I connected the 120mm fan to the pwm 140mm fan and connected it to system fan 2, but my 120mm is just spinning at max RPM, any idea what's wrong?

pwm fan headers control the fan speed with the extra pin, while the 12v wire keeps supplying constant voltage. Your 3pin fan isnt connected to that pin, so it will spin full speed as it receives 12v.

Okay, so what do I do? Connect the 120mm to system 3 fan?

find a 3pin fan header, and plug it in. I dont know if system 3 fan is a 3pin.

Oh okay so basically it won't work right with that pwm pst. Thanks I'll plug it in normally thanks
