I need help

I woke up today and when I checked my phone (galaxy s6) it was super hot, the green notification LED constantly on, even after unplugging the charger, and it won't respond to anything.

Couldn't even force it to turn off by holding down the power and volume down buttons?  If it doesn't even respond to those... you might be stuck, at least until it runs out of battery.
