don't know how they go about that, but theres many services that offer to deal with data loss, i really dont know anything about RAID or these services, but im just letting you know if you tinker with it more, you might have a less chance of getting back your data.

ugh. i dont want to have to pay... i was about to setup an rsync backup...

really only way to ensure that you get everything back :/ i dont recommend taking instructions on how to fix it yourself from people, anything you mess up is on you

Linus called in a professional service to fix his stuff remotely when they (almost) lost all their data and I think at the end of the day they got basically all of it recovered without issues.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

Well then I guess just hope that someone who does that for a living stops by and can guide you through it.  Regardless though, expect the worst so you can only be pleasantly surprised.

yeah, i guess. i have my website on there so i dont want to loose the 50+ hours of work that went into that
