I need help :/

I've had this PC for quite a while. I have a intel core i7-2600k and Nvidia gtx 1060 but yet I always crash and lag out on Fortnite. CS:GO is fine but has a lot less frames then expected (averaging 250 fps). I dont know why my computer does this. Does anyone know why or how to help it?

I can only really talk about cs since I have never played fortnite, but csgo is an CPU intensive game, which means that it will require more the cpu than the gpu, and since the processor that you have is somewhat old, you might experience some fps issues. I used to have a i5 4460 and an RX460. The RX460 was great, being able to run all types of games with good framerates, but when it came to csgo or gta, it would lag behind.
