IO Shield

I’m building my first PC right now. When putting in the motherboard, it doesn’t line up properly with the standoffs. The IO shield has some cushioning on the inside of the case. Is that supposed to come off someway? The motherboard seems like it’d get enough space to slide in with the standoffs if that was off.

Nevermind for the stupid question. It was just some hang and drag from the DVI going in to the IO shield.
