hey i have a corsair spec 4 case which doesn't support a optical drive so can I install Windows 10 from an external optical drive on a new system.

You can also install Windows from a usb  drive, so it should work fine.

Get Windows on a USB drive and save you some hassle. About the question, yes it can be install from an external optical drive.

but i don't have another computer to download it on a flash drive.

1. Connect external drive to computer.

2. Boot up the computer

3.  Install windows
