I'm in my early 40's and I've never had any interest in playing PvP multiplayer games... till now.

I bought Titanfall 2 discounted. I loved the single player campaign, then just for laughs, I gave the multiplayer a go.

I love it!

I'm not the best player but I do get 2nd or 3rd place every now and then.

I've noticed some players with freakishly good aim. I can tell they are not using aimbots as they do actually try to get a fix on me before decapitating my character, but they are so precise and quick.

I tend to spray and pray a lot of the time and most of my kills I put down to luck or basic psychology to predict where the other player was going.

Question is, how bad are the reflexes of someone in their 40's compared to someone in the teens or 20's?

Depends on what you've been doing for the last 20 years, some tasks hone response time while others wither it away

Typing. Oh god, all the typing I've done during that time.

Well, I'm 63 and I can't believe that you actually had to ask that question.  I just wish I was 40 years younger.  Good luck.

HA! I feel 80 to tell you the truth!

There isn't anyway to measure difference overall. We can't say that you have half or 1/4ths of 20 years younger reflexes. Not that it would matter in the end. Only in games where quickness is the thing. Like arena shooters and CS/CoD where every kill matters and pace is faster overall. But with games where its CTF or CP style with constant respawning, knowing map and having good eye to team tactics and such covers aim accuracy and reflexes. You probably still won't win 1v1 on fair ground, or sniping battles.

It is probably a combination of things.  Yes they may have Slightly faster reflexes.  The younger they are the more of a chance they were born in to that play style so to speak.  They have only know modern game styles so everything feels natural to them.  I think the big thing is, Usually the younger the person the more free time they have to play and practice.  For every 1 hour you put in they probably have 10+, hard to compete with that.

Same problem here.

I like cs go, but now  i'm playing ghost recon wildlands pvp (you are old like me, so you gonna love it. also, its protected by EAC so less cheaters).

cs go are cool, but new kids are using a lot of aimbot and ESP..

most of the games kids are cheating,

if you try PUBG you wont like it lol, tons of cheaters and a bad game...

ps: don't fool yourself, low fov aimbot can be undetected, even pros are using it ;)

try wildlands and tell me if u like ;)
