I'm making a speaker with a built in class d amp and mp3/bluetooth/fm module. I want to add a volume control, since when I power on the module it starts at full volume. For that I tried to add a potentiometer to the module's output before connecting it to the amp, but it doesn't do anything. I tried with a 10k and 1000k potentiometers and also some resistors but the volume doesn't change much. The volume control on the module works fine. I also tried to add the resistors and potentiometers to the output but it didn't work also. What should I do?
