Funny-ish story!

So im 15 (almost 16) and i was talking to my sisters boyfriend (around 23) and he built his own computer and thinks he is king of all computer knowledge and so i figured hey im good with tech (thanks to linus) maybe ill see how much he know so i was talking to him about graphics cards and boy was he hilarious first it started off with me telling him that for the build im working on im going to get a 680 and he tells me 'NO dont get nvidia they are crap and everything of theres breaks, get 2 5500's instead its way more powerful'. And so im just sitting there trying not to laugh. so later after i explained to him that nvidia is very good he says "well why are you getting '"this" 680 you can get one for like $200USD" and so i tell him no you cant this one is very good for the money and i told him that it had such an such Mhz to which he responds " Mhz doesnt matter its all about the ram and quit frankly graphics cards actually dont do much its all cpu" after he said that i just about face palmed but wait it gets better. so later i tell him one of my selling points for Nvidia is PhysX its not super important but its a plus to which he tells me that "AMD can get PhysX to you have always been able to get it" to which i tell him about how he might have gotten mixed up with how the PS4 might support PhysX and that it runs AMD and his response was " No my computer "which is running 1 5500" has eyefinity and is running crossfire (remember he only has ONE card) and thats all i need to run PhysX. And once that was said i was about ready to call him an absolute moron but i held back.

now this is all bad but the worst part is that he thinks im a moron and says that i am and he thinks that he is always right and will fight to the death no matter if i show him a video that clearly proves him wrong he is such a piece of work and i just wanted to share this story with you all.

Please leave a story about some moron that you know that trys to be a know it all i would love to hear it so i know that im not alone.

Technically you can have PhysX on a AMD system, but your CPU will be taxed to Hell! That's how the PS4 will be doing it anyway...
