Thermal compound lifespan calculation

speed258

Hello I talking with my friend how to calculate thermal compound life span, and we come to these variables:

1. CPU max temperature.

2. CPU average temperature.

3. Space between cpu and cooler (it should be no more than 0.3mm)

4. CPU size (width and height)

5. Cooler surface size with CPU.

Do we make right step in calculation or we just using wrong variables?

CPU: Intel I7-8700K | Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master | RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz 2x8GB | GPU: Asus ROG 1080Ti OC | PSU: Seasonic Prime 650W Titanium | SSD: 1x Samsung Evo 970 250GB M2 1x Samsung Evo 970 1TB M2 | CPU COOLER: Noctua D15

Max temperature, weight and size aren't important. Seal/tightness between cooler and CPU would be one, if you want to count such things. Most important part is paste composition and how it reacts to heat and air.
