Oxelon Conversion Artifacts (Bugged?)

Has anyone ever used this program? I used it looking for a simple, versatile, free audio converter, but it leaves this 1-2 second patch of deafening noise at the end of each song. It originally happened on a Windows 7 machine converting 192KHz/24-bit songs to 48KHz/16-bit. This made me think that the converter might have problems with ultra-high data songs, but it happened again converting 44.1/16 WAVs to AAC or MP3. So it's not a format problem and it's not a quality problem. This might to better in the audio forum, but it's not that popular of a program. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had similar issues to try and troubleshoot. I've since moved to FreeStudio and it does the job fine, but I'm still curious.
