What did i do to my taskbar and how do i put it back to default?

you can just drag your taskbar smaller and larger just put your mouse on the edge of the taskbar and drag it

right click on it, select  properties or "lock the taskbar" (if there's no unlock then hit properties and then unlock

once taskbar is unlocked, treat it like a window, move mouse to the edge and resize pointer should show up. Resize and then lock it in place
