Hello, I feel like my rig has become outdated and would like some help with upgrading my rig and just wondering where to start. Im relatively new to computer gaming and would just really like a system where i can comfortably run BF1 at 60fps without compromising much in terms of graphics. This is my first gaming pc and please let me know just where to start. (none of my components are overclocked or modified in any otherway)

*edit* Just saw the recommended methods for posting and wanted to add that I currently run two monitors off this system and have peripherals already and my budget as of right now is about $200 but will increase soon

  • Zotac Geforce GTX1060
  • Intel Core i5‑7400
  • 1 Stick of 8gb DDR4 ram
  • ASUS H110M-E/M.2
  • L7 EVO 120gb ssd

Add a second stick of RAM for dual channel operation.

A 7700 would be a good upgrade for your current MOBO.

Overclocking your GPU with MSI afterburner would also increase performance.

GOOD LUCK!

This is probably your best upgrade option.

Using software like afterburner is like sitting in a car and controlling it by using a remote control linked to a satellite that transmits instructions back to said car.  Overclocking through the BIOS is like holding the steering wheel.  It will give you more stability at lower voltages along with lower temperatures.  It's not that hard, just watch a video or two on it.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

The build is very minimal.

It's safe to say that you can invest in a CPU since 8th gen was released not long ago. Get the RAM up to 16GB.

The storage is low so maybe a hard drive, but that's up to you, doesn't seem necessary at the moment if you've been on 120gb so far.

Get a good hard drive in the future, avoid the cheap ones. Get one that will last you a while.
