LG 31MU97 help

 So a few years ago i bought the LG31MU97 after watching Linus reviewed it. i fell in love with it. and been using it work and playing games, but a few weeks ago the DisplayPort crazy only shows 640X480 because what i read the EDID is corrupted. I called LG and will not help me out. they want me to ship it out to them which will cost 100.00 since it large monitor and dont have the original box. I have also called every authorized repair center near me and they dont work on monitors. Im only asking how to get into service menu so I can reflash. Kinda feel upset.

 

I hope Linus reads this because I know they use the LG31MU97 every day for their editors.

 

 

I was able to get the Service Manual but can't figure the instructions. I am hoping the Forum
