Giveaway Idea

Anyone else think it would be a good idea for older hardware giveaways. Giveaways for people who don't have PC's already and/or can't afford one. There appears to be plenty of extra unused PC parts around there storage room. Why not give them a chance to breath again and give them a good use than collecting some dust. Just an idea, anyone else got another idea they think would be pretty cool. Thanks for reading, Hope your having a great day!

Depends on how you define "older hardware".

 

You can usually get Athlon 64 systems for free.

lol, there is nobody around  here who would be willing to give up an old computer even if its outdated af, also like there is nobody around where i live is really computationally inclined.

Time and effort to giveaway old hardware doesn't seem worth it, on top of that who'll pay for shipping? Person giving it away? Whoever wants it will have to pay for shipping at the very least, and in the process of shelling out money for shipping your essentially buying yourself old hardware. 

 

Would be easier for people to chuck the old stuff out in the garbage bin or give it away locally.

or you know wait until you are old enough and get a job to buy it before you have bills, or if you have bills and don't have the extra money try to get a higher paying job so you can afford more expenses. your not stuck in your spot in life you just have to work hard to move up. if it was easy everyone would have tons of cash.
