Dumb question about Storage Power usage

So right now i have a Small SSD that holds my Windows than i have a 1TB SSD that i have been told is dying and a 2TB 3.5 SATA Hard Drive.

 

My question is this if i was to change the 1TB SSD to a 4TB SATA 3.5 Hard Drive will it take much more power or will i see no change?.

Unless the RPM is higher and the drive was older and less efficient, no, actually since it's newer you might see less power draw.

A normal Hard Drive has 5 watts

A good SSD has 1,5 watts, but some have up to 4.5

Close to no difference. Drives are very low power and wont have an impact on your power supply.

more like 0.5-1w all time, very small jumps up to ~10w while writing data in memory chips (ms at a time) for SSDs

Around 5-8w constant consumption (mostly the motor spinning discs inside) on HDDs.

 

Basically drop in ocean compared to power used by cpu or video card.
