Laptop Keeps restarting

My Laptop keeps getting a blue screen and I always have to do the diagnose to get it back and I keep losing all my data, and my laptop temperature gets to about 90 degrees while gaming, any solutions?

 

Specs:

 

GPU: 940mx

CPU: Core i7 7500U

RAM: 12GB

how old is your laptop?? if its quite old maybe try changing the thermal paste and dust out the fans and fins.

The laptop will restart when it reaches a certain temperature. 90c for a laptop is not good, hence why it is overheating and restarting.

 

Consider opening it up and cleaning out dust, or getting a laptop stand with a fan to suck air into the laptop.

It’s less then 1 year

The dust is cleared, but i am not allowed to put on new thermal paste becuase my parents wont let me

I have A targus laptop stand that is 40 bucks

Try undervolting. Or disable turbo if you don't mind some performance loss.

What I realise, is that My friend changed my cores from 1 to 4; So a while I had the same problem but neither all the options work, so I send to a technical and fixed it but when restarting my laptop when it was noisy it goes to blue screen, so after a while I just put it to sleep then a week later I just put it to shut down and it was fine, but after the change, i am back to craziness, and all the files and apps are gone

Huh, I was getting 92C last summer whilst playing Overwatch and I was alright, I've got a cooler for it now but yep...

I don't know your situation or knowledge on computers but maybe explain the advantages of re-applying thermal paste?

if you feel that this wouldn't help the situation then don't do it.

Just putting out an idea.

it kinda easy to reapply thermal paste but you'll prolly end up voiding the warranty of your laptop.. yeah undervolt it or put a lower limit on your gpu with msi afterburner
