MY 1070ti Build

- Ethernet

- 2tb portable seagate hdd

- aoc-e2243fw monitor

- SteelSeries rival 100 mouse

- SteelSeries Siberia 200 headset

- Some old Microsoft keyboard

- Xbox controller(s)

- 32" Samsung LT32E310EX/XU television

- Harmon Kardon PC speakers

 

So i'm going to buy this PC in a few months and would like a bit of help because I don't want to mess it up.

I'm going to be using it for all the usual tasks,infrequent video editing using DaVinci Resolve and the following games at MEDIUM - LOW settings :

- Titanfall 2

- Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)

- Rocket League

- Call of duty: Ghosts

- Fornite

- Minecraft

- Universe Sandbox 2

- Garry's Mod

- Team fortress 2

- Assassins Creed 3

- Paladins

- Shellshock Live

- Far cry 3: Blood dragon

- Watch dogs 1 & 2

- Call of Duty: Black ops 3 (Not yet purchased)

- Possibly Dark Souls 3 (Not yet purchased)

 

Some things I want to know:

- Should I use my aoc-e2243fw monitor or LT32E310EX/XU television as my screen

- Will it run all my games well

- Are all the parts compatible

- Will I get overheating

- Is there a significant bottleneck

- Are there any improvements I could make (Max budget is roughly £1050)

Use the TV, I game on a TV and I love it. Only thing wrong with that build imo is case, I'd use a Thermaltake Versa H15 or something else in the Versa H line due to its superior airflow over that carbide.

Oh and I feel the cable management is better in the Versa H line too.

Would that mean I have less fans with a h15?

You're welcome. Few buying tips when buying a case:

Don't go with the ones with non mesh fronts (like the half covered ones or fully covered). Makes airflow really bad.

Cable management. ALWAYS look for a case with plenty of gromits for cable management.

PSU Shroud (totally optional but looks so much better). Try get a case with a PSU shroud if you care about looks.

No. The front is still covered, it's not mesh. Infact I'd say that's worse than the first case.
