usb serial device ( com3 )

I installed plug and a plug a software that helps me see what's disconnecting and connecting. and the results are i have the usb serial com3 port keeps connect and disconnect can somebody tell me what's that?

Usually thats some form of communication device, such as USB to a Serial interface, which is common for network administrators for consoling into routers and such.

Im going nuts trying to figure out which usb device is disconnecting and connecting im sick of it. i can't figure it out.

Try uninstalling the device in your device manager and see what stops working..

I did and nothing stopped working ?

I would probably just uninstall the software you installed truthfully. No need to have that type of monitoring software. You will know if something isnt working or not normally with Windows.

Literally unplug all USB devices and then plug them in one by one and see which device and/or port is causing it.
